ILO reports global economic problems
are severely impacting youth between the ages of 15 and 24
who are beginning to enter the labor market.
ILO indicates that economic problems in Europe
are expanding widely outside the eurozone
causing economic growth of East Asian
to Latin American countries to start slowing down.
The ILO report emphasizes that
these effects are severe in Middle Eastern countries
and North Africa where youth unemployment rates are more than 25%
and still rising.
