Jen Psaki, US Foreign Ministry spokeswoman
answered journalists' questions today
on the current political chaos in Thailand saying
the United States would like to profoundly express condolences
for the incident where people died that occurred two days ago,
but appeals for all sides to stop using force
and demands all sides respect the law.
Spokeswoman Jen Psaki said that
she denounced the use of violence
and appealed for all sides to negotiate a solution.
She said that the US Ambassador to Thailand, Kristie Kenney,
spoke with Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra
along with opposition party leaders
to help in negotiating a peaceful solution.
