House member Pelosi said that
the United States needs to be responsible for the debt it has created.
The issue of cutting future spending,
nobody disagrees,
but you cannot say you will not pay that debt.
President Obama said
that he will not negotiate on the debt ceiling issue
with Republican party members
in Congress like he did in 2011,
which is a stance which challenges
the Republicans to do as they've threatened.
