If Congress does not vote to raise the debt ceiling
the US government will run out of money in the next few months
which may make the world lose confidence
in the credit worthiness of the United States.
On this issue about the debt ceiling,
Democrat Party members had different opinions.
House of Representatives Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi
explains that increasing the debt ceiling allows
for the government to borrow money to pay the debt
that congress previously approved,
which is an issue that is not related
with the government's spending money in the future.
