Republican party Senate Minority Leader
responded to questions whether or not Republicans
will use the country's debt ceiling issue
in connection with negotiations
to reduce government spending
while giving television interviews on Sunday.
Senator Mitch McConnell, Republican leader in the senate said that
if the President doesn't lead the country
in a way that will greatly reduce spending,
the Republicans will use every bargaining chip they have.
This debt ceiling issue is one chip.
