Victoria Smith, age 16,
said when she was a volunteer
mentor to 5th and 6th grade students
she needed to gradually change the ideas of those children
about smoking.
Victoria Smith, student mentor, said that
5th and 6th grade children know that
cigarettes are bad for your health.
But they still see that smoking
makes them cool,
and will make them become an extremely popular kid in school.
