But Russian Foreign Minister Mr. Sergei Lavrov said through an interpreter that
Russia has deep confidence that
the situation in the Ukraine will in no way settle down
and negotiate at a national level
if the Ukrainian authorities continue ignoring the public interests
in the southeast region of the country.
The Russian Foreign Minister continued saying
Russia has a right to protect its citizens in the Ukraine.
