Deb White Plum told VOA reporters that
water management in America is inefficient,
water is wasted,
natural water sources are contaminated.
She said that one third of the drinking water used in the home
is clean water that's used in the bathroom.
Meanwhile Brooklyn,
their granddaughter uses water from an underground well
to wash dishes in the kitchen.
Deb White Plum says that clean drinking water, no matter where it comes from,
should be valued for every drop
and should only be saved for drinking.
