Near death experiences
of patients who've survived heart attacks from around the world
are often similiar.
Because there is still no scientific evidence
to explain why the images that patients see
appear so real to them,
it makes people think the miracle had something to do with religion
or was a supernatural hallucination.
Most scientists believe these hallucinations
occur in the few minutes after the heart stops beating
because the brain is starved of oxygen, which is called clinical death.
