In news from Apple,
Apple said that from Friday until this past weekend
total sales of their 2 brand new iPhone models
were better than all other iPhone introductions
and helped support Apple's stock price, closing up 5% today.
This past Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the iPhone 5s and 5c
which are new models, had sales reaching 9 million phones.
Before this, Wall Street stock analysts
weren't very excited about these 2 new models.
Apple also added that business income for the final quarter of this year
should be around 37 billion dollars
which is at the upper end of the company's previous estimate
of between 34 billion and 37 billion dollars.
