Dr. Oram said there is not even a single study
that reports about the health impacts on the male victims
from being smuggled for labor or human trafficking.
And she found only one or two reports
that studied these effects on children.
Dr. Oram is not sure what the reason is
for the lack of interest towards male victims.
But that means that
male victims of human trafficking
have received little physical and mental help.
