causes of death throughout the world.
Or about 1 million people die each year.
Aside from the bad effects on health,
Sylvie Lemmet, Director of the Division of Technology
Industry and Economics of UNEP
says that measures to control the use of dangerous chemicals
that are inefficient
have a bad effect on the economy as well.
