Both of today's scientific news stories are stories of outerspace.
The first story is about discovering what a team of scientists believe
are 15 exoplanets
which are assumed to be planets that are able to support life.
The people who discovered those planets are dozens of volunteers
who work for the Planethunters website
(or planet hunters).
By examining data received from space agency NASA's telescope
named Kepler, that's in outerspace,
it's assumed all 15 newly found exoplanets
orbit in a warm area where it's believed there could be water
on any of the planets, or maybe even life.
