Cyprus Parliament overwhelmingly voted
to reject the plan to restore the economy
demanded by foreign creditors
which proposes to collect deposit taxes from bank customers.
The plan did not receive support
from even one Cyprus Parliament member.
That is, there were 36 votes against
and 19 people who abstained on Tuesday night.
The voting results created questions whether
or not the Cyprus government will be able to pay its debts
and whether or not Cyprus will need to leave the Eurozone.
