Advocates for the rights of acid victims indicate that
they hope to be bringing the offenders
in these latest cases to court
under the new laws
which have harsh penalties.
They want stricter laws to control the selling of all kinds of acid
including the acid that's used in the batteries of cars and motorcycles,
as well as acid that's used in purifying gold
and in cleaning jewelry.
